Early in the 1960s, the Methodist Church established the “Asbury Village” to provide shelter for the residents of Tsuen Wan’s seaside wooden houses, and to set up various social welfare services, education and religious ministries. The school was also established in the same year in response to the needs of the residents. Following the demolition of the “Asbury Village” in the 1980s, the current site retains the Asbury Methodist Church, the kindergarten and the social service office. The school changed over time and was renovated in the millennium to meet the various needs of the community. Now we continuously serve the residents of Tsuen Wan and Kwai Tsing districts. Adhering to the mission of the United Methodist Church, our school shares the love of Christ with the citizens of the district and provides high-quality pre-school education for young children.
